Most are wildlife career also and have day jobs. We appreciate your compassion and patience.
We rescue, rehabilitate, and adopt out non-native pigeons. This includes sick, injured, and orphaned rock pigeons, spotted doves, and other non-native species. Whether you've picked up a pigeon from the street, found a lost racing pigeon, or are aware of an unethical breeder, we have the experience to assist in providing care and will prioritise the best interests of that bird. Pigeons, contrary to popular belief, are not any more dirty or disease-ridden than any other wild bird. It is extremely rare for a pigeon to carry any illnesses that can impact a human. If you find a pigeon you believe may need help, please contain the bird (it's safe to pick them up), and contact us. Do not attempt to put water or food inside their beak; their anatomy makes it extremely likely that they will aspirate and develop a lung infection.
