Animalia Wildlife Shelter is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit wildlife rescue and rehabilitation organisation based in Frankston, Victoria. The shelter supports the care and recovery of injured wildlife in Victoria, assisting native animals that have been injured, orphaned, displaced or affected by environmental factors and human-related incidents. Animalia provides specialised care for a wide range of Australian native species, including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, possums, wombats, microbats, flying foxes and seabirds. Animals are assessed, treated and rehabilitated in line with best-practice wildlife care, with the aim of successful release back into their natural environment whenever possible. Licensed by DEECA, Animalia operates within Victorian wildlife regulations and collaborates with trained rescuers, wildlife carers and veterinary professionals, contributing to the protection of native wildlife and biodiversity across Victoria.
