Microbats of Victoria is a DEECA-registered wildlife rescue and rehabilitation organisation specialising on native microbat species. Operating from Templestowe in Melbourne, the organisation supports the rescue, treatment and rehabilitation of microbats across Melbourne and the greater metropolitan surrounds. Microbats of Victoria assists bats affected by injury, illness, habitat loss and human-related incidents. All rescued microbats are assessed and rehabilitated using species-specific care practices, with the aim of recovery and release back into their natural environment whenever possible. Microbats of Victoria works collaboratively with licensed wildlife carers, veterinary professionals and support networks to provide specialised microbat care, contributing to the protection and conservation of Victoria’s native bat populations.
