95% of all rescuers are VOLUNTEERS.
Most are wildlife career also and have day jobs. We appreciate your compassion and patience.

Wildlife Rescue Emergency Service (WRES) is a not-profit organisation providing support services to injured and endangered wildlife within the Central Victorian and greater Victorian regions. WRES assists a wide range of native species impacted by injury, illness, natural disasters and environmental events. Working alongside government agencies, licensed wildlife carers and veterinary professionals, the organisation focuses on coordinated rescue, rehabilitation and release of native wildlife across Victoria.
